"The performance from writer/producer/director Al Carretta as farmer John Smith is very good. He manages to ratchet up his fear and physical pain with painful realism as he slowly bleeds to death....as an idea this is original, and has a talent in Carretta, who keeps the atmosphere tense and interesting..."

Based on the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe stage play 'I Am Robert Mugabe', director Al Carretta took everything the key review said and made things better. Casting began in December 2010 with the working title, 'Goodnight Mr.Smith'. With a complete shift to HDSLR cameras the production started rolling in mid-February 2011 and wrapped on Friday 8th July. Final cut was delivered late August 2011 after a positive rough cut test screening that happened only a day after the film's completion on Saturday 9th July 2011.

The entire 76m film was shot on a single Canon EOS 60D in various locations across England and Scotland. It is Al Carretta's third completed indie feature film since June 2010.
